Founded by my father, Petros Pontikas, in Agrinio, Greece, in 1985, our company has spent decades combining tradition with innovation in automatic bell-ringing and clock systems. From our first registered patent in 1991 to installations across Greece and beyond, our history is built on reliability, respect for tradition, and pioneering engineering.
Since 2020, under the leadership of Georgios Pontikas, the company has entered a new era with new facilities and a renewed vision focused on continuously improving our products. In 2023, Georgios and Vasileios Kousaridas joined forces, bringing together decades of experience, fresh ideas, and a shared passion for excellence. By 2025, BellSystems had become a fully integrated manufacturer, designing and producing its core electronic and mechanical components in-house ensuring uncompromising quality and shaping the future of bell-ringing systems worldwide.

The company is founded by Petros Pontikas, focusing on the design and installation of automatic bell ringing and clock systems, guided from the start by respect for tradition and technical reliability.
Registration of the first pan-European patent: a pioneering, maintenance-free bell ringing mechanism that remains in continuous operation in churches decades later.
Introduction of the first compact analogue controller, combining user-friendly design with advanced control and setting new standards in bell automation.
Launch of the second registered patent. This innovation introduced a stainless-steel bell striker with adjustable impact strength, enabling precise control over the bell’s volume, tone, and overall performance.
Georgios Pontikas becomes head of the company, marking a new era of modern production facilities and a renewed vision, focused on improving production and adapting our products to the needs of customers abroad.
A first for the industry: our systems begin shipping fully pre-assembled and factory-tested, cutting installation down to simple mounting and wiring. This opens the door to churches far beyond Greece, with reliable setup by local technicians anywhere in the world.
